Interesting enough, Jon Benson says that 7 minute diet is actually not a diet plan!
Because I wanted to be sure that I was buying the right plan for me I went ahead pulled some strings and got an interview with the man himself. We are all skeptical with all the fake information out there nowadays so I decided the best way for me to decide weather the program was right for me would be to talk to Jon himself.
Jon explained to me that the program indeed can help you lose 8 pounds a month with as little work as 7 minutes a day. He also mentioned that program has nothing to do with the traditional dieting such as consuming low amount of carbs, low amount of calories, or low amount of fat. He also added and I quote: “it isn’t an exercise program.”
If you don’t know Jon Benson you should Google him because he as actually made a reputation for himself as health and fitness expert. He actually graduated from MIT when he was back in Los Angeles and also got a degree in Human Communications and also in Philosophical Studies. I could go on about Jon’s accomplishments such as his post graduate works in NLP and Nutrition but I want to go right into the “meat” of this post.
I asked him why he named the program 7 Minute Diet and this was his response,
“You know,” he said, “I have a line of ’7 Minute’ products. I wrote The 7 Minute Muscle and The 7 Minute Body. Since this program only takes a few minutes every day to follow and it can result in 5 to 8 pounds or even more of weight loss per month, the name 7 Minute Diet just seemed logical.”
Then I made “the ask” as some people call it. I said “What exactly is 7 minute diet?”
“It isn’t really hard to explain,” He said, “It is a chain of 21 things you can do every day that will accelerate your body’s fat burning rate.” He also said “When you add them all up, you can get quite a significant number of extra calories being burned without dieting or exercise,”
“So what are those 21 things?” I politely asked him.
“Well, a good example is a study I read, which was done at the University of Minnesota, where test subjects were given 1000 mg of Vitamin D3 a day and they burned an average of 220 extra calories per day.” He then mentioned that, “We made sure every one of the actions in The 7 Minute Diet is backed up by scientific research like this.”
I then asked Jon how many extra calories I was going to burn if I followed his diet program.
He laughed and said that it wasn’t really a diet program but to answer my question “It depends,” he said, “If you did every single thing in The 7 Minute Diet each day you could conceivably burn an extra 1,100 calories per day.” He went on to mention that “You know that is equivalent to a 150 pound person jogging over 9 miles?”
As it turns out a person who weights in 150 pounds will burn about 93 calories per mile jogging, so that comes out to about 11.83 miles.
In the next post I will be making a 7 Minute Diet Review soon so stay tuned for that. By the way let me add that the 21 switches will help you:
- Boost your metabolism.
- Control your appetite.
- Improve your nutrition.
- How to do all of the 21 switches in a step by step format
Imagine this;
if you wanted to build a house would you start putting one brick on top of the other randomly or would you hire an architect to draw up a blueprint for the house first? Of course you need a blueprint that anyone can follow and know that one brick goes here and the other one there and so on. In the same way you need a step by step system that teaches you how to lose weight in a way where you are left with no answers.
Of course that no matter what blueprint you use it’s always good to have the teacher right next to you and that is why when you buy the 7 minutes diet program it comes with a 30 day personal coaching bonus.
